Lindsey Griffin joined Mead, Talerman & Costa in 2025 and
represents towns and private clients on municipal law, land use,
permitting and zoning matters. Her legal experience includes
positions with the Massachusetts Office of the Attorney
General, working in the Non-Profit Organizations/Public
Charities Divisions, the U.S. Coast Guard Office of the Judge
Advocate General, and as a paralegal with a general practice law
firm in Virginia.
Lindsey earned her J.D. from Suffolk University Law School,
where she focused on environmental and land use law. As a
student attorney in Suffolk’s Environmental Law and Policy
Clinic, she advised clients on permitting processes for coastal
resilience projects, municipal composting regulations, and state preemption issues.
She also served as Chief of Communications for the Global Accountability Network’s Ukraine Accountability Project and was recognized with Pro Bono Honors.
Before entering the legal profession, Lindsey served in the United States Coast Guard as a Petty Officer Third Class, where she worked in fisheries enforcement and maritime communications. She brings the same commitment to service, attention to detail, and practical problem-solving skills to her legal practice today.
