Aileen Bartlett practices municipal law and general civil litigation, with broad experience advising public officials and representing clients in complex civil litigation. She joined Mead, Talerman & Costa following a decade of service as an attorney for the City of Brockton, where she worked closely with city leadership and municipal departments to navigate a wide range of legal issues and promote effective governance.
Aileen has represented governmental entities in state and federal courts and before administrative agencies on matters including tort and civil rights claims, as well as employment, code enforcement, and land use matters. Her work has also encompassed labor and employment issues, such as collective bargaining, disciplinary proceedings, and labor arbitrations, along with broader municipal governance and compliance matters, including open meeting and public records, conflict-of-interest, municipal licensing, and public contracts. She takes pride in helping public officials make informed, practical legal decisions that support their communities.
Aileen earned her J.D. from Suffolk University Law School and her B.A. from Bridgewater State University.
